My body is my home. I am embodied within a vast network of beings, places and timelines. What goes around - comes around. Life is precious.
Learning that I had to eat meat again after over 30 years in order to restore my health was devastating. That day I promised myself that I had to kill one of each of the animals that I am eating. Seven years later, I am part of an organic dairy and meat farm team in Boulder working up my courage and developing skills to live up to my own promise. The photography triptych “me - the OMNIVORE” #1 grapples with two opposing incentives: not wanting to harm the vast living network that I am part of on one hand and maintaining my own life on the other.
